Is your organization eligible?

To receive a micro-grant for your activity, your organization must meet the ImmersART program criteria.

Your organization is eligible if…

1. It is a non-profit organization.

Your non-profit must be duly incorporated under federal, provincial or territorial laws. You must enter your incorporation number in the micro-grant application form.

2. You are able to offer an activity…

  • Related to arts, culture or heritage
  • In French
  • Conducive to student participation
  • Focused on the heritage of official language minority communities or the artistic and cultural expression of official language minority communities

3. Your activity is related to at least one of the following disciplines:

Dramatic
arts
Media
arts
Multidisciplinary
arts
Visual
arts
Dance
Literature
Arts and
crafts
Music
Heritage

What expenses are eligible?

You can be reimbursed for any eligible expense that is directly related to the cost of providing the activity:

  • Honorarium for the artist in charge of facilitating the activity
  • Activity coordination costs incurred by the organization
  • Materials required for the activity
  • Cost of transportation to take the students to the activity or the artists to the school

Types of expenses that are NOT ELIGIBLE for the ImmersART program

  • Capital assets
  • Regular operations of the organization
  • Regular collaboration, networking and strategic planning process
  • Needs analysis and study
  • Professional training

Please note that if you incur expenses for the activity before receiving confirmation of funding approval in writing, you do so at your own risk. The ImmersART program cannot be held responsible for such expenses if your application is rejected, for any reason.
